Pilates
- Pilates instruction to beginners and participants at all levels.
- One on one interaction.
- Use of Pilates as a trunk and core stabilizing exercise for individuals who have suffered an injury to the neck, back or extremities.
- Assessment of current Pilates technique. We are able to modify or enhance what you are doing at home, at the gym or in group settings.
If there is an injury involved we can submit a claim to your health insurance with a Physician's referral. Otherwise, the fee for service is $75/hr. Initial Assessment is approximately one hour. Further treatment sessions is based on the initial assessment.
Your Professional Therapist
Amy Kurtz, Physical Therapist has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. She worked as a hospital based acute care therapist prior to joining Northwoods Therapy. Amy has a strong interest in Pilates. She is currently working towards a certification as a Pilates instructor.
